Annapurna, the Himalaya in the west of the country is named after the Goddess of food and nourishment, who is also one form of lord Parvati in Hinduism. ABC is a moderate trek to the majestic Mountain Annapurna which starts from Phedi, 45 minutes drive from Pokhara, the heavenly city. The trail will give you a chance to explore Nepal’s ethnic communities; Gurung, Magar, and Thakali. It will continue through dense Rhododendron (Nepal national flower) forest with high peaks in the background.
